Andrew Ansen Sobrinho

Andrew Ansen Sobrinho was born in Houston, Texas, into a Catholic Goan family. He has two younger sisters. Sobrinho has claimed potential Portuguese or European Union citizenship through his Goan ancestry.

He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, demonstrating an early commitment to leadership and service.

Sobrinho attended The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and Systems. He was part of the Davidson Management Honors Program at UTD. He received a 4 Year Academic Excellence Scholarship.

During his time at UTD, Sobrinho joined the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity.

Sobrinho is a consultant at Ernst & Young (EY), working as an AI & Data Technology Consultant. Prior to EY, he worked at Toyota.

In 2026, Sobrinho won the EY AI & Data Staff Challenge. His work involves building and maintaining SQL views, stored procedures, and backend data pipelines in SSMS to support weekly reporting loads for scalable reporting datasets. He also managed the weekly reporting lifecycle, sequencing data loads, validating outputs, and coordinating updates to ensure timely delivery of business-critical reporting.

Sobrinho currently resides in Chicago, Illinois. He moved to Dallas at the age of 18 to attend UT Dallas.
